FRIDAY MARCH 31, 2017

Double Tree Hotel – Animas Room  Social 6:30-7:00 PM / Presentation 7:00-8:30PM  Steve Henderson “Exploring The Yampa River”  Steve owns and operates Henderson’s Fly Fishing which is the premier guide service in Steamboat Springs.  A River Runs Through It-Just like the Animas flows through Durango the Yampa flows through Steamboat.  Join us for an informative presentation on how, when and why to fish the Yampa.

SATURDAY APRIL 1, 2017

Schedule of Events – Saturday, April 1, 2017

Duranglers  8:00-11:00 AM  Mike Sulkoski “Fly Tying Demo”  Mike is a long time guide and a great fly tier.  He will be in the shop wrapping bugs so stop by to watch, learn and ask questions.

Duranglers  8:45-9:15 AM  Sam Spillane “Hatch Reels:  What does it mean To Be Finatical?”  Sam is a passionate Fly Angler and our Sales Rep for Hatch Reels. Come see why Hatch Reels are the latest rage.

Duranglers  9:45-10:30 AM  Zack Dalton “Understanding Fly Line Design” Zack is with Rio Fly Lines and probably knows more about fly lines than anyone on the planet. Stop by and let Zack teach you what you need to know to choose the best line for you.

Duranglers   11:00-11:30 AM  Chad Harkins & Carly Kolstedt “Equipping For The Extremes: Summer & Winter”  Chad and Carly are our Sales Reps from Simms and will be here to talk about how to stay comfortable from wet wading to winter steelhead.

Santa Rita Park  12:00 Noon   “Lunch On Duranglers”

Santa Rita Park  12:00-2:00 PM  Erik Johnson and Jake McKittrick  “Casting With Erik & Jake”  These guys are two of the best casters around so head to the park for casting tips and demo a wide variety of single and 2 handed Sage & Scott Rods.

Santa Rita Park  12:30-1:00 PM  Dave Allen  “Patagonia Foot Tractor Clinic/Demo”  Dave is our Sales Rep for Patagonia and you owe it to yourself to see why these wading boots mow though anything you will encounter on the riverbed.  Come try them out on the Animas and bring your waders, it’s a little early for wet wading.

Santa Rita Park  1:00-1:30 PM  Carly Kolstedt “Fly Fishing Basics For Women”  Carly is one of our Simms Reps and is here to answer all your questions.

Duranglers  2:30-3:30 PM  Josh Graffam  “Euro Nymphing”  Josh is our Sales Rep for Umpqua and an awesome angler.  He has some great new ideas that will give you the tools needed to become a better angler.

Andy manages Duranglers Flies and Supplies online store and web content. When he is not plugging away in the basement of Duranglers, he can be found in the shop talking weird flies, throwing spey casts for few fish, eating pizza, drinking coffee, painting, and raising a family in Southwest Colorado.

His fly fishing writings have been published on blogs such as the Daily Drake and Simms Wading Room.
