Navajo Lake is one of the Southwest’s great Smallmouth Bass and Northern Pine fisheries.  It is a year round fishery but things really get stared in February for Pike and late spring to early summer is prime time for trophy sized ‘smallies’.   Large Pike can be caught year round with some weighing in at over 20 pounds.

Vallecito Lake, sheltered in a mountain valley 8,000 feet above the sea level, is one of the largest and mostSpencers,s Pike beautiful bodies of water in Colorado.  This reservoir is home to Rainbow, Browns, Smallmouth Bass and giant Northern Pike.  When stripping streamers through its gin clear water you never know what you might catch.  The trophies of this lake are it’s 20 pound plus Pike!
