Animas Lunch Report – 5/18/15 – Fish In A Barrel
As you can see, Cory Crave is super excited about the stocking truck’s visit to Texas Hole. Hey, at least the big boys will eat fingerling sized streamer now!
Andy – The Animas came up today to about 1440 cfs. Even though the the clarity decreased, there is still about a foot of visibility. I did have one follow on a black streamer. Fishing should be good with dark bugs through these cloudy days.
On another note, thanks to the recent rain and snow; our snowpack has increased drastically. Should the weather keep up like this for another week or so, our snowpack percentage should be close to what it was last year at this time. Let the float season become great!
