DESCRIPTION:Our Fly Tying 101 is a great introduction to the lifelong pursuit of fly tying if you’ve always wanted to learn to tie your own flies but don’t know where to start.  We are now offering Fly Tying 101 as a FREE introductory lesson\, with expert instruction and all tools/materials supplied.  In this class\, you will learn to start a fly\, wrap thread\, attach and wrap materials\, and tie off a fly.  Any flies tied by you are yours to take home and use yourself! \nTying your own flies is a great way to learn more about what is going on in a river and help you become a more successful fisherman. \nPreregistration is required\, as the class is limited to 4 people. Please call us at 970-385-4081 to register. If 4 people register\, you will be added to our next available class. If you have not registered and you show up the day of the class and we are full\, you will be turned away\, so call to register and ensure you have a spot!

DESCRIPTION:Guide Flies Tying Series – Nymph Class\nAre you looking to level up your fly tying skills?  Join us for our three-part fly tying class series\, taught by our guide Brian Cronin. \nBrian is a full-time guide for Duranglers and is often noted by our clients for having full\, beautifully assorted fly boxes on his trips.  Brian’s guide flies are all tied by him and his boxes are fully stocked for every situation and hatch found throughout the year in Southwestern Colorado.  Brian is a fantastic fly tier and instructor and these classes will showcase tips\, techniques\, and secrets to tying better flies and filling your boxes for years to come. \nOur Guide Flies Tying Series will consist of 3 classes with Brian that will each focus on a different stage of the trout food life cycle. \n\nJanuary 14th – Nymphs\nJanuary 21st – Emergers\nJanuary 28th – Dries\n\nClasses are from 5-6:30 pm.  The cost is $50 per student\, per weekly class\, and pre-registration is required as space is limited.  Join us for one night for $50\, or all three for  $150.  Come learn a few tips\, techniques\, and secrets to tying better flies and filling your boxes. \nBasic fly tying skills are recommended for these classes as Brian will be going over intermediate techniques.  New to fly tying?  You would be best suited to learning the basics at any one of our free 101 fly tying classes held all winter long beforehand.
