DESCRIPTION:Our Fly Tying 101 is a great introduction to the life long pursuit of fly tying if you’ve always wanted to learn to tie your own flies but don’t know where to start.  We are now offering Fly Tying 101 as a FREE introductory lesson\, with expert instruction and all tools/materials supplied.  In this class you will learn starting a fly\, wrapping thread\, attaching and wrapping materials\, and tying off a fly.  Any flies tied by you are yours to take home and use yourself! \nTying your own flies is a great way to learn more about what is going on in a river and help you become a more successful fisherman. \nAlthough this class is free\, pre-registration is still required and spots are limited.  Please give us a call at 970-385-4081 to reserve a spot!

DESCRIPTION:Co-hosted with 5 Rivers Trout Unlimited\, Our Open Fly Tying Night – Bring your B Game is for any and all interested in fly tying.  This night’s theme is Bring your B game…meaning BYOB!  Whatever beverage powers your tying\, bring it! \nBring your own tools\, materials\, supplies\, snacks\, beverages and just tie!  Although this is not an instruction night\, there will still be plenty of learning from each other. This is a meeting of the minds: an excuse to get out of the house\, get behind the vise\, and have some fun with fellow tiers.  If you’ve got an upcoming saltwater trip and some patterns you want to take…great! \nThis is a FREE event for who want to hang out and tie with other tiers.  Equipment and materials will not be provided but we may be able to accommodate a few items or a vice if necessary.
