DESCRIPTION:Our Fly Tying 101 is a great introduction to the lifelong pursuit of fly tying if you’ve always wanted to learn to tie your own flies but don’t know where to start.  We are now offering Fly Tying 101 as a FREE introductory lesson\, with expert instruction and all tools/materials supplied.  In this class\, you will learn to start a fly\, wrap thread\, attach and wrap materials\, and tie off a fly.  Any flies tied by you are yours to take home and use yourself! \nTying your own flies is a great way to learn more about what is going on in a river and help you become a more successful fisherman. \nClass is limited to 4 people\, so preregistration is required.  Please call us at 970-385-4081 to register.  If 4 people are registered\, you will be added to our next available class.  If you have not registered\, and you show up the day of the class and we are full\, you will be turned away\, so call to register and ensure you have a spot! \nCOVID safety practices will be in place.

DESCRIPTION:Our Fly Tying 201 continues on the foundations built in our 101 class with more intermediate techniques.  This class assumes that you already know the basic techniques such as starting a fly\, wrapping thread\, attaching and wrapping materials\, and tying off a fly.  Providing expert instruction with all tools/materials supplied\, you will expand your fly tying skills to be able to tie a variety of nymphs and dry flies. \nAny flies tied by you are yours to take home and use yourself! \nThe cost for the Fly Tying 201 class is $75 and pre-registration is required as spots are limited to 4 students.  Please call us at 970-385-4081 to register.  If 4 people are registered\, you will be added to our next available class.  If you have not registered\, and you show up the day of the class and we are full\, you will be turned away\, so call to register and ensure you have a spot!
