Trout are careful\, selective feeders. Successful anglers come to the river prepared to match the size and color of the dominant food source for that day. \nAngling the San Juan is always a challenge. Presentations must be exact\, and drifts must be drag-free.  If you want to up your San Juan game\, this is the clinic for you.  Come learn where to find fish\, figure out what they are eating\, and how to get them to look at your bugs.

DESCRIPTION:Our Fly Tying 101 is a great introduction to the lifelong pursuit of fly tying if you’ve always wanted to learn to tie your own flies but don’t know where to start.  We are now offering Fly Tying 101 as a FREE introductory lesson\, with expert instruction and all tools/materials supplied.  In this class\, you will learn to start a fly\, wrap thread\, attach and wrap materials\, and tie off a fly.  Any flies tied by you are yours to take home and use yourself! \nTying your own flies is a great way to learn more about what is going on in a river and help you become a more successful fisherman. \nPreregistration is required\, as the class is limited to 4 people.
