Potters Fat Head Moth

Product Description

A moth fly?  Yep!  Here in Southwest Colorado in the head of summer, spruce moths show up in droves in our high alpine timber.  These moths are not the best fliers, and oftentimes find themselves blown into a river or creek.  Trout key in on these bugs, and will crush them with reckless abandon.  If you are headed to the high country of SW Colorado, make sure to have a few of Potters Fat Head Moth.

The Fat Head Moth also works fantastic as a large skittering caddis that is deadly in the summer on our local Animas river…
