Basic Saltwater Flies – Fly Tying Class

Hey there prospective saltwater angler, are you looking to fill a box full of goodness for saltier species?  Then this is the class for you!

If you are looking to dive into the world tying for saltwater fish but are not sure where to start, this might be the class for you.  We will cover basic flies that are used to catch a variety of species including bonefish, tarpon, permit, and others.

The cost for the Basic Saltwater Flies – Fly Tying Class class is $50 and pre-registration is required as spots are limited to 4 students.  Please call us at 970-385-4081 to register.  If you have not registered, and you show up the day of the class and we are full, you will be turned away, so call to register and ensure you have a spot!

This class is for tiers new to tying saltwater flies, but it is not brand new fly tiers.  If you have never sat down at a vise to whip up a few bugs, you are better off taking one of our Fly Tying 101 classes that can be found on our calendar first, as we will not be covering the bare basics of fly tying.  You should have the ability to attach and wrap thread, tie in materials, and finish a fly on your own.
