Black Friday. What does that actually mean for a small local fly shop? Are we discounting everything to INSANELY LOW prices? Well, no. To be honest, as a small business, we just cannot compete with the big box world of crazy discounts on mostly cheap “made in China” goods. However, we pride ourselves in our ability to offer our customers unparalleled knowledge of Southern Colorado fly fishing and a great selection of “Made in America” gear.
We can however, offer some incentives to stopping by the shop on Black Friday…as well as Small Business Saturday AND Cyber Monday. Let’s just call it Black Friday Weekend!
Free $5 Gift Cards
That’s right how about a $5 gift card to Duranglers FO FREE! Spend it on some tying materials or a couple flies. Save it for that new pack your are looking at. Heck, give it as a present to someone else in need (maybe a certain college kid who is low on fly money).
So what’s the catch? Well, we have a limited stock of these $5 gift cards…only 20 in fact. So the first 20 people through the front door of Duranglers on Black Friday will get one. No purchase necessary. We will be opening our doors at 8 AM, as always.
Free Duranglers Hat OR 1 Dozen Trout Flies
If you spend $100 in the shop or online on Black Friday through the end of Cyber Monday (11/25 through 11/28), get a free Duranglers cap or 1 dozen (un-tagged) trout flies. It’s that simple!
(For our online customers, you will need to take a look at our selection of Duranglers Caps, find your favorite, and then put your chosen Duranglers cap and color in the ‘Order Notes’ on our checkout page. Should you choose flies, you need put which flies you want in the ‘Order Notes’ on the checkout page. If you are not sure what flies you want, just put something like “Please send a selection of trout flies for spring fishing on the South Platte River” or “Need streamers”. We will take care of the rest. Please keep in mind that these will be “UNTAGGED” trout flies…meaning you will need to keep it to basic dries, nymphs, emergers, or streamers. You are also limited to the flies we have in stock…so no backorders on free goodies.)
