Braided – A New Local Women’s Fly Fishing Initiative
We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Braided, a new local women’s fly fishing initiative. Braided was founded by Kami Swingle of Two Fisted Heart Productions as a group to connect with fly fishing women as well as to help women who are new to fly fishing learn as much as they can. While Braided is a women-focused group, men are welcome at most events.
With a few events on the horizon, mark your calendars with these following dates and come join us. No fly fishing experience necessary.

Join Kami Swingle and the newly-launched women’s fly fishing group, Braided, for a celebration of women in fly fishing. We’ll be screening several stellar fly fishing films showcasing women’s adventures on the water.
The local chapter of Trout Unlimited will be on hand with top-shelf fly fishing information and tips, and will be giving an informative and engaging presentation during intermission.
We’ll have refreshments and raffle prizes, so bring your best gal pal and we’ll see you at Edgemont Highlands Community Lodge in Durango, Colorado at 6:30pm on June 19th.
Costa SLAM is the engaging story of three anglers from different walks of life in pursuit of the same epic challenge with just a few days to accomplish it. SLAM will be shown alongside two celebrated short films — “Old Friends New Fish” and “Odd Man Out“. Three dynamic films celebrating women’s fly fishing pursuits. Come enjoy this unique fly fishing film event with us!
