Fly Fishing a Cutthroat Lake – A Video

The high country of Colorado is peppered in lakes found at altitudes not often reached by the average fly angler. Many of these lakes are packed with trout in massive numbers, offering the adventurous fly angler the chance at 100 fish days. However, a few of these high country gems do not hold the numbers, but they do hold the pounds. Where cutthroat pushing up to 8 pounds can be caught. The quantity is not there, but the quality…well let’s just say sometimes a one fish day is far better than a 100 fish day…
