You have probably heard about the H3 already, but it’s new to us! We brought Orvis into the shop this year for the 2020 season because of the strides Orvis has taken lately to make some baller fly rods including the Helios 3 and the newly designed Recon series of rods. This is a video we shot of my Orvis Helios 3 fly rod initial thoughts when I first gave er a cast.
If you have not had a chance to cast these rods, get to the shop and give up a whirl. They are light and responsive, easy to cast, and deadly accurate. It’s like these rods read your mind and know where you want the fly before you do and puts it right where you need it. The technology that goes into these rods is so future-forward that you might be inspired invent a new rocket engine or an arc reactor as a source of infinite energy.
