From the skinny water redfish 6 weight model, all the way up to an adult tarpon 11 weight stick, the MOTIVE has you covered for all species. The MOTIVE is a great rod option for those who are looking to get into the saltwater game, or for those looking to complement their arsenal with a new weight (or even a backup rod; things happen on saltwater trips). We have also found ourselves using the MOTIVE as a predator stick: 6 and 7 weights for heavy streamers and sink tips, the 8 weight for pike and bass bugs, and the 9 and 10 weights for chucking heavy air resistant meat in pike and musky country.
