Arctic fox tail is a premium natural fly tying material for creating some of the most enticing streamers, saltwater, and steelhead flies. We get these tails specially dyed for the Duranglers shop and you won’t find a more vibrant selection of colors anywhere.
The length of Arctic Fox Tail Hair is long, approximately 3 – 3.5″ inches, and makes great tails on streamers and baitfish, wings on swing or bonefish flies, and collars for larger pike and predator flies. This hair makes for some of our favorite fly tying materials due to its suppleness and movement along with a very slight translucence when wet.
Heck, try it as a marabou substitute on buggers or any of your streamers that call for it.
