Soft Hackle…Sunday? – Kyle’s Yellow and Rainbow

Soft hackle Sunday?  Sure why not.  Since we have not been too consistent with the Soft Hackle Saturday anyway, so we figured we would keep the soft hackle installment alive on Sunday.

Hopefully you are cranking out some bugs watching the Broncos right now anyway, so let this inspire you.  We present Kyle’s Yellow and Rainbow (for lack of a better name.

This guy is a fairly simple tie…in fact it is just a large Brassie with a wet fly hackle.

Hook:  Any 2XL Nymph Hook, 10-14
Thread:  Olive
Abdomen:  Hot Yellow Ultra Wire – Size BR
Thorax:  Rainbow Scud Dub, Dark
Hackle:  Partridge
