Animas Lunch Report – 6/12/15 – Over the Hill

It has been delayed long enough, it is now time. Pack the truck, rig the boat, and hit the road: it’s Rio Grande season.
As you read this, half of the Duranglers guide team is headed over the hill to Creede for a few weeks of epic dry fly float fishing. It’s going to be a sweet year to be on the Rio.
Kyle – At least you can float under the bridges now. Hopefully this big flush will get a lot of the junk out of the river.
Andy – The Animas came down 1000 cfs from yesterday…which means very little. It’s still over 5000. Here is a little throwback video from a few years ago on the Rio. Get stoked on it. Water clarity should be coming back very soon.
