As they say, all good things must come to an end. However, the end of one good thing brings about the beginning of another good thing. After a good month and all the wonderful support from you all during our 20% off FLY STIMULUS, we have come to the end of our sale. With the slow reopening of Colorado and the lifting of the Stay at Home orders on April 27, this discount will go through the weekend but will expire on Sunday the 26th.
Going forward, per Colorado Governor’s order, we will be open for curbside pickup on web and phone orders at our downtown shop on April 27th. Then on May 1st our shop doors should be able to open as it stands right now. We will be following all social distancing and sanitary practices as instituted by the state of Colorado. We may be wearing masks, but we will be very glad to see you at the shop!
And in very exciting news, we are hoping to start booking guide trips starting May 1st as restrictions to nonessential businesses are lessened! This is some very good news as we are coming into some good pre-runoff fishing. If you are looking for a good float option this May, give us a call to talk about the Rio! Conditions permitting, we can see some incredible streamer fishing on the Rio this time of year. The Animas, Dolores, Pine, and Piedra has seen some great fishing recently and our Pike or Private Water options might be just the social distancing escape you need right now. Give us a call to talk about options at 970-385-4081.
Our Guided trips will have some procedural changes through this transition phase which we can discuss further as we go forward. Please also note that though the New Mexico State Park closure is set to expire on April 30th, this closure may be extended until May 15th. This is closure does include the San Juan River Quality Waters within Navajo State Park, but we will keep you updated as we find out more.
