Animas Lunch Report – 11/20/15 – Get Ready for Brock Osweiler
Get ready for the first career start of Brock Osweiler this Sunday. We will probably be tying flies and watching with anticipation on how the Broncos will do against Da’ Bears. We shall see how Denver does sans Manning.
Anyway, the Animas Lunch Report is much the same as yesterday – Midges. Big fish are rising, and you should be out there. We have also seen some small, late season caddis in sizes 18-20 as well so it wouldn’t hurt to have some micro caddis on hand.
This shot was from one of the last days of the Vallecito pike season (there really isn’t a season, but when they close down the boat ramp and the water gets too cold for pike on the fly, we say adios until spring). It seems much is closing down and getting ready for it’s winter hibernation. However, we still have a few good days of solid fishing left until the real cold and snow…and even then, fish through the blizzard!
