Animas Lunch Report – 5/1/15 – May Day
Did you know that today is May Day? Yep! Fun fact, most people don’t know what May Day actually celebrates. I don’t know either.
Andy – It’s a shorts, t-shirt, and flip flops kind of day. With warmth like this, no wonder the Animas flows are shooting up. Currently at 771 cfs and off color. If you want to go fishing this weekend in Southwest Colorado, head for the San Juan River or any of our local tailwaters. Heck, do something crazy and out of sorts: go fish a lake.
On another note, we all need to get educated on the current epidemic of streamer junkies. Thanks to Headhunters fly shop, we all are a little more informed.
