Animas Lunch Report – 7/10/15 – The Truck
Well the truck is making it’s rounds today.
What truck you might ask? Unfortunately, not the PBR truck. Nope, it’s the stocking truck.
Yep, the Animas among other local rivers are getting an infusion of hofer rainbow trout. Are we excited about this?
No comment.
But you can certainly get out and catch a whole bunch of trout right now!
Andy – Fished the Animas after the quick monsoon rain we got today. The flows were around 1800 and the river was fairly off color. Threw the 6wt and big bugs with no tugs. I did move one fish. Lots of caddis and PMDs hatching right now. Look to the afternoons and evenings for good dry fly action. The fish are hot and wanting to eat right now, so don’t give up
