Colorado
Colorado finally entered the modern age with its brand new phone app, My CPW. “My CPW is the official mobile app for CPW’s license and pass purchasing website and it is available to all CPW customers (residents and non-residents)”. Download for on Apple IOS or Android, purchase your license, and you are ready to fish!
Southern Ute Tribal Waters
As of this moment (literally, we just got the news today), we are no longer selling Southern Ute Tribal Fishing Licenses at our shop. This is not exclusive to Duranglers either as this was a Ute tribal decision, and licenses are no longer sold at ANY of the previous retail or office locations. The ONLY place you can purchase Southern Ute Tribal Water licenses is now on their online store. Easy peasy!

New Mexico
As weird as it is to say this, New Mexico was actually first to the online license game and has been at it for a few years. One can still call their toll free number and purchase over the phone as well. As a refresher, here is what you need to know if you are fishing the San Juan River Quality Waters (or anywhere in New Mexico).

ONLINE SALES
Buy a license online at https://onlinesales.wildlife.state.nm.us/
If you have never had a New Mexico license click “create a new account” and fill out the form then follow steps below.
If you have had a New Mexico fishing or hunting license in the last few years you should be in their database. If you know your username and password log in and follow the steps below.
If you do not know your username or password click “Forgot Username and Customer ID” and follow the prompts. If you are having trouble accessing your account you can call NMG&F at 888-248-6866 Monday – Friday 8am to 5 PM for assistance.
Buying a License
Once logged in go to license sales and click general license sales, click “agree” to the terms and conditions. The next window shows the license options.
Fishing License Options:

The $4.00 Habitat Management and Access Validation is required only once per season for everyone except persons under 18 years of age. The $10.00 Habitat Stamp is also required once per season to fish the San Juan below Navajo Dam.
There will also be a $1 Required Internet Fee changed.

Click review order and if correct add to cart then continue to checkout and pay with a credit card. Then print your license and sign it. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A PRINTER, SAVING IT TO AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE LIKE YOUR SMARTPHONE IS ALSO OK. Either way, you must have the license on your person.
