Tim Kapustka’s “Feathers and Fur” Fly Art
We love fly fishing art. We also love supporting anything local. So it is exciting when local artist (and friend of Duranglers), Tim Kapustka drops a new series for Studio & gallery in Durango. It’s an awesome series that will premiere this Thursday featuring some very well known Western trout flies. All the show info is below, but make sure you also check out all of Tim’s work on his website or Instagram.

Opening Reception: Thursday, June 2 – 5-7pm

“I am very excited to have a new series of work on display in The Recess Gallery. There will be an opening reception this Thursday, June 2 and the work will hang throughout the month of June.
I will be unveiling a new series called “Feathers and Fur” which are vector illustrations inspired by something I spend a good amount of time thinking about, fly fishing. I’ve recently started tying my own flies and what better way to study these objects of trickery than to spend time illustrating them? These prints are small in size to match their subjects, all prints are 5×7 and are in very limited editions. I hope you’ll come out and see these new illustrations, but if you can’t make it in person and are interested in seeing the work, please email me here”
