Animas Lunch Report – 4/22/15 – Word on the Street

It’s a blustery day here in Durango, what is the word on the street?  How about a few quick news briefs:

1. We have the Ross Animas 3/4 – Stealth now in stock! (read about Andy’s recent factory tour of Ross Reels)
2. The Trout Unlimited yearly banquet is happening next Saturday, May 2nd.  Get your tickets here at the shop.
3. Our neighbors Steaming Bean is now open for business after their recent remodel.  Stop in and check out the new digs next time you are at the Duranglers shop.

Andy – The Animas is at 437 cfs, much like the past few days it is very clear and slowly dropping (that could change soon).  Nymphs and streamers will take most fish.

Kyle – We have not heard from Kyle in a few days.  That is because he has spent the better part of his lunch breaks the past few days cranking out some bugs for his upcoming trip to Turneffe Flats in Belize.  Can’t really fault him for that, when you are flying to a foreign country to fish in a remote locale: you don’t want to run low on flies.
