Animas Lunch Report – 2/3/15 – It Got Cold Again
We saw temps get drop down to -10 last night. It has actually been pretty cold for a few days and the Animas is looking more like a slushy in the mornings. Should you get out and fish it? Heck yes…although you might loose feeling in your fingers and toes. You should probably wear extra socks and shoes and use a lot of weight to get your bugs deep.
You could also make a day trip down to the San Juan River, which just so happens to be fishing very well right now. Make sure you have some annelids and SJ Worms.
