Animas Lunch Report – 4/25/16 – Zero Hour
The zero hour has come and its time to go. High, off color water mean the Animas float season is in full swing. Most will look at the river and think “why that is far to high and muddy to fish”. Think again, gametime is now for the next few weeks until we see the real bulk of runnoff. Currently riding at 1,070; the Animas is in prime streamer conditions.
This stud of a brown trout was boated by Spencer right out of the gate this past weekend. Keep casting…you never know…
