Animas Lunch Report – 6/16/15 – Boomerang
“If it’s a boomerang, I call dibs” Jake declared as we opened the packages delivered by UPS the day before.
Statements like this just provide evidence that throughout the summer; the mind of a fly shop staff employee slowly deteriorates into spouting nonsensical idioms. What’s worse is I felt a slight tinge of disappointment at the prospect that Jake called dibs on a potential boomerang before I could. I want a boomerang too.
In other shop news, we received the new Drake Mag summer issue in the shop today. Hurry because these always get snapped up quick. We are also stocked back up on all our Howler Brothers Clothing!
Kyle – Although the river is still high and unfishable, I am comforted by the fact that I am clothed in my Simms Long Haul short sleeve shirt. It is extremely cozy on this warm summer day.
Andy – The Animas has dropped down to the minuscule cfs of 4200 today….throw some dark meat!
