Animas Lunch Report – 6/19/15 – Father’s Day Solstice
A few quick points to note:
- Sunday is Father’s Day
- Sunday is also the Summer Solstice (you can fish the most possible daylight hours in one day!)
- We just extended our Rio Grande float season
- So I think I know what you should do…
- Fill up a box of dries and go fishing with dad this weekend!
Andy – It looks like we are in for a hot one…finally. That high country snow is melting and we are done with peak flows (fingers crossed). Although the Animas is currently at 4,380 cfs, it is coming down and we should see the waters clearing soon.
Oh, and with each day, more and more bugs are showing up on the Rio Grande…
